2013 represents a milestone of ten years since we, as a group, have embarked upon the road to becoming community advocates. As always, my favorite comment is, “without your help and support this milestone could not have been possible", your ongoing encouragement has fueled our efforts to achieve great things.
I am very optimistic that you will continue to support us on our mission of community service. In spite of worldwide crises, such as the demons of war looming in the Middle East, we remain strong to be supportive of each other, and to keep camaraderie and morale high. We pray for God's continued guidance and protection from the many perils that may confront us.
Let me assure you that your presence here is greatly appreciated and
The Jamaica Ex Passport and Immigration Officers Association applauds, and thanks you, wholeheartedly, for celebrating with us once again. It is appropriate that, tonight, we recognize Miss Juliet Jameison for over forty years of unbroken and dedicated service in the Immigration & Passport Offices, and who retired as a Supervisor. We commend her for her unswerving loyalty and leadership that inspired all who know and worked with her. Congratulations are also due to our other Awardees,Veronica Thompson, Barrington Cross, Burnaur James and Donald Mullings who in their unique way have contributed to the betterment of our association.
This year, in keeping with our theme, LOOKING BEYOND A MIRROR, means that we should be looking beyond ourselves to see the bigger picture in our individual community. May God bless us all, to keep a strong bond of friendship and togetherness, and to continue to be always supportive of each other.
My best wishes for a great evening.
One Love!
